The warranty on Smarttech products depends on the product type as well as the type of customer buying them.

Below we will detail the different warranties available on Smarttech products.

SmartBoard 600 Series

The SmartBoard 600 series includes the SB640/660/680/685/690 as well as the SBD600.

• Education customers
  • 3 year return to base (or on site if registered within 90 days from date of purchase1)
  • FREE upgrade: 4th and 5th year return to base warranty if registered within 90 days from date of purchase1

• Business customers
• 2 year return to base
• FREE upgrade: 3rd, 4th and 5th year return to base if registered within 2 years from date of purchase2

SmartBoard 600i and 685i series

The Smartboard 600i and 685i series include the SB660i/680i/685i boards including the projector supplied with the system unless otherwise stated.

• Education customers
• 3 year on site (1st Lamp warranty: 3 years - subsequent lamps at 500 hours/90 days)
• FREE upgrade (board only): 4th and 5th year return to base if registered within 2 years from date of purchase2

• Business customers
• 3 year return to base (1st Lamp warranty: 3 years - subsequent lamps at 500 hours/90 days)
• FREE upgrade (board only): 4th and 5th year return to base if registered within 2 years from date of purchase2

Smart Document Camera

The Smart Document Camera SDC 330 is covered by a 5 year return to base warranty for both education and business customers.

SmartBoard V280

The SmartBoard V280 is covered by a 2 year return to base warranty with a FREE upgrade to 3rd, 4th and 5th year return to base warranty when registered within 2 years from date of purchase2 for education customers.

Smart Response

The Smart Response (LE / PE) is covered by a 3 year return to base warranty for education customers.

Smart Hubs and SmartBoard Interactive Displays

The Smart hubs (VE220 / SE240) and SmartBoard interactive displays (6052i / 6052i-MPP) are covered by a 2 year return to base warranty for business customers.

SmartBoard Audio

• Education customers
• The SmartBoard Audio CAS240 and USB Speakers SBA UK are covered by a 3 year return to base warranty

• Business customers
• The SmartBoard USB Speakers SBA UK are covered by a 1 year return to base warranty
  
  

Smart Slate

The Smart Slate WS200 is covered by a 2 year on site swap warranty for education customers.

Smart Accessories

The Smart accessories such as pens, erasers, cables etc. are covered by a 1 year return to base warranty for both education and business customers.

Please note that this does not include consumables such as lamps.

Other Smart Products

The Smart Panel Displays (Overlay / Actalyst / IDF) and Smart Podiums (ID350/ID370/DT770/WS) are covered by the following warranties:
