Returns
We try to ensure that you are happy with your purchase, however we understand that there are occasions when you need to return goods to us.
Requesting an return number (RMA)
In the event that you need to return goods, then a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number must be obtained from us for each and every return so that we are able to process your return. Failure to obtain an RMA number may result in rejection of the return and/or delays in getting a credit.
To request an RMA number please contact us in writing or by phone on 01924 278464.
The RMA number must be clearly shown on each parcel returned, and must be in the original manufacturer's packaging (which shall not be defaced) complete with accessories, manuals and documentation. Software packages must be returned unopened with the Software seals intact. Except in the case of faulty goods, returned items not complying with these requirements will be rejected.
Goods damaged in transit
If on delivery the goods appear to be visibly damaged you must notify the carrier immediately that you will not accept delivery.
If you discover the damage after you have accepted the delivery, you must notify us as soon as possible and within 24 hours.
Faulty goods
In the event that goods are found to be faulty within the first 30 days from delivery (7 days for businesses) then please contact us immediately, ensuring that you have the item's serial number available for us.
Different manufacturers have different 'Dead on Arrival' (DOA) policies applying to goods that are found to be faulty either on delivery or very shortyly afterwards. You will therefore be advised by our customer service team of the relevant manufacturer's returns policy.
We shall at our option repair or replace such goods (or the defective part) and only if a repair or replacement is not possible or would be disproportionate to the price of such goods we shall at our discretion refund the price of such faulty goods at the pro-rata contract rate provided that you return the faulty goods to us with all internal and external parts that were delivered with the goods
Warranty claims
If goods become faulty more than 30 days after delivery then you are advised to contact the manufacturer directly
and use their warranty procedure.
If you wish to make a warranty claim, you should comply with the manufacturer's
instructions and warranty procedure.
In order to resolve your problem as quickly as possible, we are happy to
refer you to the product manufacturer who will deal directly with the return. In these instances, we will
provide you with the contact information for the manufacturer. This does not affect your statutory rights
Please note that certain products have a limited warranty. We advise that you check the warranty terms before purchasing any goods.
You have changed your mind (consumers only)
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven days of receipt of your goods (with the exception of any made to order and customised items). You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your contract nor will you have to pay any penalty.
You will need to cancel your order in writing by post or hand delivery
to our address as stated on the Contact Us page
or by fax to 01924 416808.
On cancellation, you must return the goods to us in their original condition and undamaged.
You must send the goods back to our contact address at your own cost and risk as soon as possible.
You must take reasonable care to ensure
that the goods are properly packaged so that they will not be damaged whilst in transit.
If you do not arrange
to return the goods to us, then you are under a duty to make the goods available for collection at your expense
from the address to which they were delivered.
Whilst in possession of the goods you are under a statutory duty to take reasonable care of them. We reserve the right to claim against you for goods returned which have been made unfit for resale or damaged whilst in your possession.
You have changed your mind (businesses)
If you wish to reject goods, you must obtain an RMA number from us within 24 hours of delivery, submit a completed RMA form to us as soon as possible thereafter and allow us facilities to inspect the goods within 7 days of the date of delivery.
The goods must be undamaged, unused, in their original packaging and you must not have marked either the goods or their packaging.
Should you reject and return the goods in accordance with the clause above, we reserve the right to charge a "restocking fee" to be determined by us and payable by you in respect of the returned goods.
If you fail to comply with the above, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods.
