SMART have introduced the next evolution of iQ-enabled SMART Board® with the new 6000S and MX V3 series of interactive displays for education and business.
What's new in the SMART Board MX series V3?
The latest version of the Smart Board MX Series with iQ, along with 6Gb DDR memory and 32Gb storage, now features Android version 9.0 (with an automatic update to Android version 11.0 sheduled for the second half of 2022) making it significantly more responsive, offering high performance even when running more demanding software.
The 65", 75" and 86" models also feature a Zero-bonded glass screen which reduces the overall display weight while enhancing the inking precision and image quality.
Finally the V3 MX Series includes an additional 65W USB-C port that supports video, touch, audio and data with one cable to add more user convenience.
What's new in the SMART Board 6000S series V3?
Like the new MX Series, the new Smart Board 6000S Series with iQ now features Android 9.0 and will update to Android 11.0 later this year.
The V3 6000S Series has been updated to up to 40 points* of precise simultaneous touch for a truly dynamic and collaborative experience.
An integrated microphone array has been tested and optimised to work anywhere in the the classroom and capture clear, high quality audio, making it easier for teachers to connect with student by capturing lessons for later review, video conferencing, and more.
To make it even easier and quicker to start teaching, you can log in to any NFC-enabled Smart Board 6000S displays with the SMART ID cards.
No more typing out long passwords at the front of the class; simply tap your personal SMART ID card for simple, fast and secure access to your personalised iQ setup with your favourite tools front and center, including files, cloud storage, apps and lessons, favourites, bookmarks, and custom widgets.
Lastly, two 65W USB-C ports are now available, one on the front convenience panel and one at the back of the display. These powerful and ultra convenient connections support video, touch, audio and data over one cable.
*Application and operating system dependent. Users can experience up to 40 points of touch on Windows OS, 20 points of touch on Mac OS and 10 points of touch on Chrome OS.
